Stonemart™ Ethical Code of Conduct Statement
Most of the people wonder and often ask us why for nearly two decades since its inception Stonemart™ has consistently being ranked as the top stone manufacturer and exporter from the stone industry in India? Well, a Lion's share of credit goes to our principles of integrity, virtues and core values. In a nutshell we can say our 'ethical code of conduct '. The code of conduct is a set of guidelines upon the shoulders of which a company's brand name exists and functions. These are the set of principles and guidelines that are expected to be followed by every stakeholder of the company. It makes the brand name of the company outstanding from a sea of manufacturers and sellers in the market.
Here, please allow us to throw some light over the pillars of ethical code of conduct at Stonemart™ and what makes us an internationally trusted manufacturer, packer and exporter of natural stone decor products worldwide. Let us look at the core pillars of our ethical code of conduct that redefined our brand value as the one with the most transparent, reliable brand with unflinching goodwill of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Alike our premium quality natural stone products, our product packaging is also acclaimed internationally. The main reason is the protection that we offer with our robust wooden pallets enroute. But most of our clients are not aware of the fact that we are extremely sensitive to our environment while conducting the business operations. The wooden crates or pallets that we use for packing the ordered shipment are made only from used or recycled wood.
We can proudly boast the fact that our business operations have no role in cutting of trees or forestland. We are strictly against deforestation which is the primary cause of global warming. The preparation of all the wooden pallets for packaging has taken place only and only with the wood that has been put into use. Indeed, all pieces of woods are properly fumigated prior to their use in the preparation of pallets. Leaving no traces of impurities or bacteria.
Stonemart™'s ethical code of conduct is resolute to the fact that child labour is nothing but a curse that ought to be eradicated from the society. That is why, we ensure that not even a single unit of our supply chain directly or indirectly gets associated with child labor. So the next time when you place the order for your favourite stone Buddha statue, luxury fountain of international series, divine Hindu God statues, natural stone bird baths, abstract sculptures, stone lamps, designer stone urlis, stone elephants for Vastu, natural stone furniture or stepping stones. Feel proud of the fact that you are placing order from the best in the business with not even an iota of share in the evil of child labour.
We firmly believe in the fact that just like our clients, our workers are also an important stakeholder in our business. So, why not take the utmost care of the health and safety of our workforce? Whether we talk about our Stonemart™ murtikars or the workers responsible for handling the packaging and shipment of the ordered units, they are always well equipped with protective gears, masks, gloves and other accessories that are our moral duty as a globally recognized brand.
When most of the parts of our world are continuously fighting water and power crisis, Stonemart™ has always come forward with a highly sustainable business model. Most of our natural stone modern decor products can skyrocket your decor aesthetics with no use of power. The ones that run on power (including our flabbergasting collection of natural stone water features and birdbaths for balcony, terrace and garden) use pumps that draw a very little amount of power to unfold the magic.
The same can be said for the water fountains, Buddha fountain or Ganesha fountain where water can cascade without water connection or outlet. The water can be directly poured into the base tank. The water that is in there stays there, thanks to the exceptional architectural skills of our Stonemart™ craftsmen. The fountain tiers and tanks are created in such a manner that there will be no spillage of the water to the surrounding areas of installation. So, no more wiping and mopping and no more risk of slipping on the spilled water. The conservation of water should be a mission of every individual and we at Stonemart™ are wholeheartedly a part of it.
We at Stonemart™ never believe in the process of wastage. When we are taking something from the Nature, it is our moral obligation to make the maximum possible use of it. That is why we follow the single block cutting technique, where everything right from cutting to carving is accomplished upon a single block of stone. As there will be no wastage of stone, it would be least impactful to the environment to every degree.
Stonemart™ firmly believes in offering its patronage to native Indian murtikars and artisans with exceptional craftsmanship skills through hands. When other manufacturers in the industry have declared their endorsement to the usage of machines for faster yet less appealing outputs, we have heavily invested in human skill, their artistic prowess and ancient Indian heritage. The manufacturing of hand carved stone masterpieces always take additional time and efforts with minimal use of machines. But when we look at the panache of artistic finish, we would find the effort to be worth it. It also helps us and our clients to feel proud of the fact that they are offering patronage to sustainable livelihoods of countless murtikars in the era of machines.
As there is minimal to no usage of heavy machinery at the manufacturing units of Stonmart™, we can proudly boast the fact that our business operations contribute to the noise pollution in the atmosphere to the least possible extent. Contributing significantly to the health and overall well-being of the communities.
Our ethical code of conduct is indeed an essential guide to outline the principles, behaviors, professional approach and the core values that we firmly believe in. It helps us make the company's culture and interests of the stakeholders better with the passage of each given day.
We at Stonemart™ are resolute to the fact that it is not just the sales or the track record of customer satisfaction that measures the success rate of a business brand. But also, the workplace standards, employee morale and adherence to the law of the land that articulate the core values of a company. That is what it takes to earn the goodwill that we earned in the inspiring legacy of almost two decades.
